Pinterest Analytics: More Focus on Demographics
The new Pinterest Analytics now offer an “Audience” tab that breaks down who exactly is viewing your posts including their location, what type of device they’re using, gender, language and what their interests are.
This shift of focus from the “how many” to the “who” nods to the importance of demographics, and psychographics — demographics focusing on their gender, age, location and things of that mundane nature; whereas, psychographics tell you more about a person’s interests, feelings, and things that drive their decisions.
Valued at $5 billion, many analysts expect this to be the next big social media site to go public. When utilized properly, this kind of data can bring campaigns from simply being implemented, to providing you with fruitful information to continue bettering your brand for the future.
